Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration is the trading card game’s 30th-anniversary set — and the first ever to launch worldwide simultaneously, on 16 September 2026. The English set is 199 cards and every card is foil. Each English pack holds five foil cards, a foil Basic Energy and a Pokémon TCG Live code card; Japanese packs hold six. Every pack has one Pikachu from a pool of 30. The set also carries 30 Classic Collection reprints and the debut of the Futuristic rare by YOSHIROTTEN. TPCi published the English set list on 10 September 2026. The set is 199 cards: 128 main-set cards, 30 Secret Rares (#129–#158) plus three unnumbered RGB Mew (R/RGB, G/RGB, B/RGB), 30 Classic Collection reprints and 8 Basic Energy. The card gallery below has all 128 main-set cards and the 30 Secret Rares, the Futuristic rares and the full MEP EN promo run, and the English set list gives every card’s number, rarity and price. 30th Celebration went on sale on 16 September 2026 in English, Japanese and Simplified Chinese on the same day. Pokémon TCG Live had it a day early, on 15 September. Every English pack holds five foil cards, a foil Basic Energy, a code card and one guaranteed Pikachu; single English packs are not sold, so day one came down to the seven products below. Prices are the official US MSRP and UK RRP where published.

🎉 Day-one checklist
Open for the two booster-pull Futuristic rares, Mewtwo ex #157 and Mew ex #158; work towards the 30 Pikachu, one in every pack; watch the Secret Rares above #128, led by Greninja ex #148, Jirachi ex #155 and Salamence ex #156; and keep an eye out for the unnumbered RGB Mew. The 30 Classic Collection reprints also turn up in ordinary booster packs, about one pack in 10; the Classic Collection pack in the Ultra-Premium Collection on 6 November is the only product that guarantees them. This is the 30th Celebration card list. The English set is 199 cards: 128 numbered main-set cards, 30 Secret Rares (#129–#158) plus three unnumbered RGB Mew (R/RGB, G/RGB, B/RGB), 30 Classic Collection reprints and 8 Basic Energy. The Japanese set, M6a, is 176 cards with a 103-card main run. Cards are grouped by numbering pool and sorted in number order within each group. Tap any card for the full image. Notes on the main set and Secret Rares
All 128 main-set cards are shown. The run holds the 30 Pikachu at #023–#052, the Pikachu ex day and night pair at #053 and #054, the legendary birds Moltres (#11), Articuno (#18) and Zapdos (#55), and ten Pokémon ex. It closes on three Trainers: Poké Pad (#126), Switch (#127) and Ultra Ball (#128). The 30 Secret Rares are numbered #129 to #158. Nine of the Secret Rares are also confirmed in Japanese as Art Rares and Special Art Rares and appear in the Japanese gallery below. Three unnumbered Mew, R/RGB, G/RGB and B/RGB, sit outside this run; see the RGB Mew group below.

Notes on the Basic Energy
All eight Basic Energy types, each illustrated by YOSHIROTTEN and carrying the Pokémon 30 logo artwork. They run #009–#016 under their own set code, MEE EN, separate from the 128-card main set. The Elite Trainer Box includes 16 foil copies drawn from these eight designs.
RGB Mew · 30C EN · R/RGB, G/RGB, B/RGB
Notes on the RGB Mew
Three Mew illustrated by YOSHIROTTEN and numbered R/RGB, G/RGB and B/RGB under the 30C EN set code, in place of a normal collector number. Collectors pulled them from early retail packs on 12 September 2026. They were not on the Japanese list or the Elite Trainer Box booklet, and The Pokémon Company had not acknowledged them as of 13 September 2026. TCGplayer lists all three in the English set with the rarity RGB Rare. The game text matches Mew #065/128: Basic, 60 HP, Psychic. Each card uses all three colours in a different arrangement: R has red foil, a blue Mew and green text; G has green foil, a red Mew and blue text; B has blue foil, a green Mew and red text. The illustration is different from the #158 Futuristic Mew ex by the same artist. A pull rate of one in 20,000 packs has been reported but is not confirmed. The images are photographs shared by the openers, not official scans. The red card shown is a French print; the green and blue cards are English prints. Full detail in the RGB Mew article.

Notes on the English promos
The English release brings a full run of foil black-star promos (set code MEP EN) packed into the Western collections — from the Tech Sticker pair to the legendary birds, the ex Box duo, the Figure Collection Mewtwo & Mew, the Ditto Premium Collection and two Futuristic-style Pikachu ex. Promos use their own numbering (currently #094–#109), separate from the main numbered set. The two Pikachu ex promos, #107 and #109, carry the same stats and attacks as the Japanese #047 and #048 pair, so they are alternate-art printings of those cards rather than new ones.

Notes on the Japanese reveals and Art Rares
The Japanese printing carries the set code M6a and runs to 103 numbered cards, so its numbering does not line up with the 128-card English set. The 30 Pikachu are numbered #017/103 to #046/103; the Japanese set number is 16 higher than the Pikachu number. The Pikachu ex pair at #047 and #048 are the same cards as English #053 and #054. Above the numbered run, Art Rares and Special Art Rares occupy #104 to #133 and the two Futuristic rares #134 and #135. Most Art Rares share an illustration with an English Secret Rare but are separate printings with their own number and set code.

The 30 Pikachu follow a rule of their own across the two languages: the seven shown in both are numbered exactly six higher in English than in Japanese.

Notes on the Japanese Basic Energy
The Japanese set prints all eight Basic Energy types, each illustrated by YOSHIROTTEN — the same artist as the MEE EN English Basic Energy. They carry no card number at all: where the number would sit, the card prints a three-letter type code beside the M6a set code, so Grass is GRA, Fire is FIR, and so on. That keeps them outside the 103-card numbered run.

Notes on the reprints
The Classic Collection reprints 30 cards from across TCG history with new foil. In Japanese they are numbered 136/103 to 165/103 with a C symbol beside the M6a set code; the Darkrai & Cresselia LEGEND is two cards and takes 151 and 152. English reprints keep their original numbers and set symbols, with the Pokémon 30 stamp added: Charizard is 4/102, Pikachu & Zekrom-GX is 33/181 and Crystal Lugia is 149/147.
More reprints were identified frame-by-frame from Pokémon’s promotional teaser (decode via PokeBeach) before the official 30-card checklist was published. The confirmed run, 136/103 to 165/103, is shown above; the teaser identifications are kept here for the record:

The nine October Card Sets each hold a region’s three starters as holo M-P promos — a separate Japanese promo set (illus. Saboteri) numbered #101–127, one line of starters per generation from Kanto to Paldea.
The 30 Pikachu
One Pikachu is guaranteed in every booster pack, drawn from a pool of 30 variants, each by a different artist. Each card carries its Pikachu number in a Pikachu-shaped marker beside the set number. In English the set number is 22 higher than the Pikachu number, so 01/30 is #023/128 and 30/30 is #052/128. In Japanese it is 16 higher, running #017/103 to #046/103.
Prices are TCGplayer Near Mint market prices, fetched 7 October 2026 and converted at 0.7540 USD→GBP. Sterling figures are indicative, and prices move daily. Cards with no badge had no market price on file. Bill’s Archive earns a commission on qualifying purchases made through TCGplayer links.
Buying the 30 English Pikachu, #023–#052/128, as Near Mint singles on TCGplayer. That is roughly the price of 2 booster packs at $13.38 each, and 2 packs would give you only 2 Pikachu, repeats likely.
Futuristic Rare — the New Rarity
Futuristic rare is a new opalescent rarity that debuts in 30th Celebration, illustrated by YOSHIROTTEN. Four are confirmed: Mewtwo ex (#157) and Mew ex (#158) in the main booster set, and the day and night Pikachu ex printings exclusive to the Futuristic Box. The same two Pikachu ex appear in the main set as Double Rares at #053 and #054. The Mewtwo ex and Mew ex scans below are the Japanese printings, #134/103 and #135/103, stamped FUR beside the set code M6a.

Born 1983. Work inhabits a space where nature and technology, light and matter, antiquity and future coexist — recently channelled into science-fiction visual research on colour, Earth and the Sun. The Chase Cards
The unnumbered RGB Mew sell for Mew R/RGB at $6,000.27, Mew G/RGB at $3,738.75 and Mew B/RGB at $5.00. Among the 158 numbered cards, Mew ex #152 leads at $89.30, ahead of Gengar ex #154 at $69.78. One copy of each of the 158 numbered cards costs $728.70 at market price on 7 October 2026, not counting the RGB Mew. The ten most valuable numbered cards make up 76% of that.

What makes these cards worth chasing:
- The four Futuristic rares — Mewtwo ex (#157) and Mew ex (#158) from the main booster set, plus the day and night Pikachu ex printings exclusive to the Futuristic Box. A brand-new rarity that has never been printed before, which is the strongest single reason to chase this set.
- The 30 Pikachu — one guaranteed per pack from a pool of 30, each by a different artist. Completing all 30 is the set’s headline collecting goal; see all 30 Pikachu.
- Secret Rares above #128 — Lapras (#131), Articuno (#132), Zapdos (#133), Toxtricity (#134), Drifloon (#136), Chandelure (#137), Lycanroc (#138), Alolan Meowth (#139), Scraggy (#140), Galarian Meowth (#141), Gholdengo (#142), Meowth (#144) and Hisuian Zorua (#145), plus the two-gold-star Greninja ex (#148) and Jirachi ex (#155). Note that several cards exist in three places at once: each Pikachu ex appears as a Double Rare in the main set, as a MEP EN promo, and as a Futuristic Box printing — same stats and attacks, different art treatment.

The Simplified Chinese Release
30th Celebration released in Simplified Chinese on the same day, 16 September 2026, as 补充包「30周年庆典」 at ¥18 per pack. The Chinese packs follow the Japanese format: six foil cards per pack and the Japanese 103-card numbering under a 30th C set symbol. English Products
The core English products launch on 16 September 2026, with nine themed Card Sets on 16 October and further products through 4 December. Single English booster packs are not sold; packs come only inside these products. A foil Mewtwo promo comes with $15 of Pokémon TCG spend at GameStop, Best Buy, Hot Topic, Barnes & Noble, BoxLunch, Five Below and Macy’s. Why are some 30th Celebration cards numbered above 128?
Cards numbered beyond the main set total are Secret Rares — alternate-art or rarer parallel versions that sit outside the standard numbered run, a convention used across modern Pokémon TCG sets.
Does the Japanese version of 30th Celebration use the same card numbers?
No. The Japanese set uses the code M6a and runs to 103 numbered cards against 128 in English, so the same card carries a different number in each region. The first Japanese reveals are the Pikachu ex day and night pair at #047/103 and #048/103, which are #053/128 and #054/128 in English — see the Japanese set section.
What are the RGB Mew cards in 30th Celebration?
Three Mew cards illustrated by YOSHIROTTEN, numbered R/RGB, G/RGB and B/RGB under the 30C set code instead of a number out of 128. Collectors pulled them from early packs on 12 September 2026. The Pokémon Company had not acknowledged them as of 13 September 2026; TCGplayer now lists all three in the English set as RGB Rare. Their game text matches the regular Mew #065/128.
