Revealed Cards
Two cards were teased on 30 August 2026 in an official Pokémon video: Mega Lucario Z ex, the set mascot, and Sigilyph ex. The clip — NEW ex★ Series & Mega Lucario Z ex Reveal | PokémonXP and Pokémon Worlds 2026, posted by the Pokémon Asia ENG channel — covers Mega Lucario Z’s debut as a Mega Evolution Pokémon ex and announces a new Pokémon TCG series, ex★.
The Japanese prints have since appeared, and they carry the detail the video did not: collector numbers, rarities and illustrator credits. All three read M7 and are numbered out of 078 — the main set is 78 cards, with full arts and secret rares numbered above that. The card text below is taken from those Japanese cards; the English images from the video are shown underneath for comparison, and the video’s own disclaimer applies to them — cards shown were under development and may differ from the final English print.

The card shares its name with the set. Aura Seeker pulls any Supporter from the deck each turn while Mega Lucario Z ex is Active, so the search is unconditional and repeatable rather than a one-off on evolution. Dancing Fist costs two Metal Energy and hits 240 into a Pokémon ex, which covers most of the Mega Evolution attackers in the current block, while non-ex Pokémon take 120.
Metal typing is the notable part. Lucario is Fighting/Steel in the video games but has been printed as a Fighting-type in the TCG for most of its history, including all five previous Mega Lucario cards further down this page.

Mega Protection is a counter to the format the Mega Evolution block has built. A Basic Pokémon that takes zero damage from Mega Evolution Pokémon ex attacks walls anything that relies on them, and it does so from turn one with no evolution step. Opponents have to answer it with a non-Mega attacker, a Gust effect aimed elsewhere, or damage from an Ability or Trainer card rather than an attack.
Power Cyclone at 140 for three Energy is secondary. The Energy movement keeps a Bench attacker charging while Sigilyph ex holds the Active Spot, which suits the wall role.

A plain Common with no Ability and a 30-damage attack. It matters for one reason: Riolu is the Basic that Mega Lucario Z ex evolves from, so the set has to print one, and this is it. Note the type change across the evolution — Riolu is a Fighting-type, Mega Lucario Z ex is Metal.

💙 About Aura Seeker
Aura Seeker takes its name from hadou (波導) — the Pokémon franchise's term for the blue wave-like energy wielded by Lucario, as depicted in Lucario and the Mystery of Mew. The trademark was filed by Nintendo, Creatures, and Game Freak on 10 March 2026, and the November 27 release was confirmed in May 2026.

November Slot and the High Class Pack
Japan typically releases a High Class Pack set in November or December — a premium product featuring new alternate artworks, high pull rates, and often a return of Shiny or special cards. Previous High Class Packs have included VSTAR Universe, Shiny Treasure ex, and Terastal Festival ex.
⚡ The High Class Pack Is Dated
Japan's next High Class Pack is MEGA x MEGA Parade, releasing 19 February 2027 and starring Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y. Aura Seeker holds the 27 November 2026 slot as a standard booster expansion, not as the High Class Pack.
Aura Seeker and MEGA x MEGA Parade are both Mega Evolution sets. The series that follows them was announced on 31 August 2026 at the Pokémon World Championships: ex★ (ex Star), teased with Raikou, Entei and Suicune. No ex★ set name or release date has been announced.
English Release
Aura Seeker has no announced English name and no English release date. English sets are named separately from their Japanese source sets, and that announcement has not been made.
English Mega Evolution sets have followed their Japanese counterparts by three to five months. Storm Emeralda released 31 July 2026; its English counterpart Delta Reign follows on 6 November. The same gap puts Aura Seeker’s English release in early 2027. Retailers list January 2027. None of it is confirmed.
