Delta Reign is the English counterpart to the Japanese set Storm Emeralda. It releases on 6 November 2026. The set mascot is Mega Rayquaza ex, card 084/103. The first English scans were revealed on 20 August 2026 and are shown below.
The set code is DLR. The main set is 103 cards, with 37 secret rares above it: 14 Illustration Rares, 17 Ultra Rares and 6 Special Illustration Rares. That gives 140 cards in total. The official announcement gives the figure as “over 135 cards”.
Delta Reign Japanese Version
The Japanese Delta Reign set is Storm Emeralda (ストームエメラルダ), released in Japan on 31 July 2026. Storm Emeralda has a 76-card main set and 37 secret rares, 113 cards in total. Delta Reign has a 103-card main set and 37 secret rares, 140 cards in total. Seven English cards are confirmed so far: six main-set cards from 20 August 2026 and the Illustration Rare Eevee 114/103 from 12 September 2026. Delta Reign Release Date
Delta Reign releases on 6 November 2026 in English, at participating retailers worldwide. The set name and date were announced on 18 June 2026. The Japanese source set, Storm Emeralda, released on 31 July 2026.
Delta Reign Prerelease Dates
Prerelease events run from 24 October to 1 November 2026 at local game stores, using the Build & Battle Box sold at the event. That is the first chance to open Delta Reign cards, 13 days before general release. The countdown above tracks the general release.
Rayquaza in Delta Reign
Mega Rayquaza ex is the set mascot. Its English Double Rare is numbered 084/103, and it appears on the Elite Trainer Box and the booster pack artwork. In the Japanese source set it has three secret rare versions: a Mega Ultra Rare at 113/076, a Special Art Rare at 110/076 and a Super Rare at 095/076. Those three take three of the top four places in the Storm Emeralda price table, so the English versions are the likely chase cards. English secret rares are numbered from 104; the English numbers of the three Rayquaza cards are not confirmed.
New English Cards Revealed
Six cards are shown in the first English scans: four Mega Evolution ex at Double Rare, and both halves of the Legendary Summit Stadium. The 103-card English main set is larger than the 76-card main set of the Japanese source set Storm Emeralda.
Legendary Summit is a two-part Stadium. Cards 096/103 and 097/103 are separate Uncommons that cannot be played on their own — a player must combine two different Legendary Summit cards from hand to play them as one Stadium. The printed effect is that whenever a ★ Pokémon is Knocked Out by damage from an attack from the opponent’s Pokémon, that player takes one fewer Prize card. Both halves share the same artwork by nagimiso, split across the two cards.
Legendary Summit is one of three Legendary Stadiums, the mechanic Delta Reign introduces. Each is a pair of Uncommon Stadium cards that share one illustration split across both halves, and both halves must be combined from hand to put the Stadium into play. The three pairs are Legendary Ocean Trench, Legendary Summit and Legendary Lava Lake, numbered 071/076 to 076/076 in the Japanese source set. The two-cards-to-play requirement is a callback to the LEGEND cards of the HeartGold & SoulSilver era, which were also printed as top and bottom halves. English numbering does not follow the Japanese list. Mega Rayquaza ex is 084/103 in Delta Reign, Mega Golisopod ex is 011/103, Mega Golurk ex is 047/103, and Mega Malamar ex is 069/103. The full English card list is not confirmed yet. The first English secret rare, Eevee 114/103, was revealed on 12 September 2026. It is an Illustration Rare illustrated by Hideki Ishikawa. Japanese Numbering — Storm Emeralda Reveal
The cards below are the 76 main-set cards revealed for the Japanese set Storm Emeralda (released 31 July 2026). Delta Reign is the English release of that set, so these cards are expected to make up most or all of its main set. The images are the Japanese cards, numbered by their Storm Emeralda (SE) position; Beyond the cards revealed above, English card names, numbering and rarities are not yet confirmed. The next two entries are the first Art Rares from the set’s secret rare section, Growlithe (078/076) and Groudon (084/076), revealed on 26 July 2026 in the pre-release pack opening video on the official Pokémon Card Channel. A further batch of secret rares has since surfaced, including Art Rare, Special Art Rare, and Full Art versions of cards such as Mega Rayquaza ex, Mega Golisopod ex, Kyogre, and Zinnia’s Trust.
Delta Reign Chase Cards
Delta Reign is not priced yet, and only one English secret rare, Eevee 114/103, has been revealed. The Japanese source set Storm Emeralda is already out, so its secret rare prices are the earliest guide to what Delta Reign collectors will chase. Mega Rayquaza ex takes three of the top four places.

The cards below are the Japanese full arts and secret rares likely to feature in Delta Reign. Mega Rayquaza ex is still the main feature, with three cards in this section. Delta Reign is the English release of the Japanese set Storm Emeralda, so its card list is expected to be built from the Storm Emeralda cards. These cards are numbered 077 to 113 in the Japanese set, the secret rare section that sits beyond its 76-card main set. It holds the Art Rares, the full-art ex cards and Trainers, three special Energy, and the Special Art Rares that close the set. The images are the Japanese prints. Apart from Eevee 114/103, revealed on 12 September 2026, English names, numbering and rarities for the secret rares are not confirmed.
