About the Set
EX Delta Species launched the Delta Species mechanic: Pokémon printed with a δ symbol and given a type they would not normally have, such as a Lightning-type Charizard. The three Eeveelution Pokémon-ex — Flareon ex, Jolteon ex and Vaporeon ex — and three Gold Star Pokémon, Groudon ★, Kyogre ★ and Metagross ★, are the set’s headline cards. A single secret rare, Azumarill, is numbered 114/113.
How to identify it: numbered cards read N/113. Delta Species Pokémon carry a small δ next to the name. The three Gold Star Pokémon are cards 111–113 with a gold ★, and the lone secret rare, Azumarill, is numbered 114/113, above the total.
Pokémon-ex, Gold Star & Secret Rare
EX Delta Species had a single Unlimited print run. The chase cards are the three Eeveelution ex, the three Gold Star Pokémon and the lone secret rare.

Promo Cards

Nintendo Black Star Promos use their own numbering (#1 onward) and carry a black star where a set symbol would be.
Collecting & Where to Buy
EX Delta Species is out of print and trades on the secondary market. Common singles are inexpensive, while the three Gold Star Pokémon and the three Eeveelution ex carry the strongest premiums.
Collector tip: the Gold Star Pokémon (111–113) are the prize — look for the gold ★ and shiny colouring, and check the holo for wear.
