Pack & box format
30th Celebration breaks from the standard Japanese booster on three counts — every card is foil, packs hold 6 cards (one more than usual) at ¥360, and boxes are 20 packs (¥7,200). One of the six is always a Pikachu, drawn from a pool of 30 — completing that sub-set alone needs at least 30 packs, so every box is a partial Pikachu hunt.
The September Wave — Launch Day (16 Sept)
The bulk of the range lands on day one. The Elite Trainer Box ($49.99) contains nine packs, an illustration-rare-style Nidorina promo, 65 sleeves, 16 foil energy cards, dice and a coin. The Pokémon ex Box ($21.99) comes in two versions — Sylveon ex or Greninja ex — each with four packs plus the promo in both play-size and oversize foil. The Poster Collection ($14.99) contains three packs, foil promos of all three legendary birds — Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres — and a two-sided poster.
Rounding out launch day: the Tech Sticker Collection ($14.99, Alolan Exeggutor or Lucario promo with a matching sticker sheet and three packs), the Knock Out Collection ($9.99, two packs, a foil Eevee promo and a coin) and the 2-Pack Blister ($9.99, two packs with a foil Eevee and coin).
