About the Set
EX Power Keepers closed out the EX Series. It stepped away from the Delta Species theme and reprinted a run of cards from earlier EX sets so they would stay legal for the new format year. Eight Pokémon-ex fill cards 92 to 99, and the three Gold Star Eeveelutions — Flareon ★, Jolteon ★ and Vaporeon ★ — are the headline pulls at 100 to 102.
How to identify it: numbered cards read N/108. The three Gold Star Pokémon are cards 100 to 102 with a gold ★. The set’s basic Energy cards (103–108) are holo.
Pokémon-ex & Gold Star
EX Power Keepers had a single Unlimited print run. Its chase cards are the eight Pokémon-ex and the three Gold Star Eeveelutions.
| Type | What it means |
|---|---|
| Pokémon-ex (92–99) | Eight silver-bordered ex cards worth two prizes, including Salamence ex, Metagross ex and Flygon ex. |
| Gold Star (100–102) | Flareon, Jolteon and Vaporeon as ultra-rare shiny Gold Star cards — the set’s prized Eeveelution trio. |

Promo Cards
The Nintendo Black Star Promos from the late EX era included legendary Pokémon-ex and a Mew, closing out the promo series before the Diamond & Pearl range began.
Nintendo Black Star Promos use their own numbering (#1 onward) and carry a black star where a set symbol would be.
Collecting & Where to Buy
EX Power Keepers is out of print and trades on the secondary market. Common singles are inexpensive, while the three Gold Star Eeveelutions and the Pokémon-ex carry the strongest premiums.
Collector tip: the three Gold Star Eeveelutions (100–102) are the prize — check the gold ★ and the shiny colouring, and confirm you are buying the Gold Star and not the common version of the same Pokémon.
