Stellar Crown marks a groundbreaking moment in the Pokémon Trading Card Game with the English debut of Stellar Tera Pokémon ex. These unique cards feature rainbow-colored borders and powerful attacks requiring multiple types of Energy, reminiscent of the legendary Crystal Pokémon from the e-Card series. The set introduces Terapagos, the source of the Terastal phenomenon itself, making its first appearance in the TCG alongside other Stellar Tera Pokémon including Cinderace ex, Lapras ex, and Galvantula ex.

This expansion brings the mysteries of Area Zero to the forefront, featuring Pokémon from The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC including Archaludon and Hydrapple making their TCG debuts. The set includes powerful new ACE SPEC Trainer cards and support cards specifically designed to enable Stellar Tera Pokémon, such as Briar, Glass Trumpet, and Area Zero Underdepths. With 175 cards total, Stellar Crown is notably smaller than recent expansions, focusing on quality chase cards and competitive playability.
