Stellar Crown set overview
Stellar Crown is the seventh main set of the Scarlet & Violet series. It went on sale on 13 September 2024, after prerelease events on the weekends of 31 August and 7 September, and it reached Pokémon TCG Live on 12 September. The set has 175 cards: a 142-card main list and 33 secret rares numbered 143/142 to 175/142.
The set is themed on The Indigo Disk, the second part of the Scarlet and Violet DLC, and it introduced Stellar Tera Pokémon ex. There are four: Terapagos ex, Cinderace ex, Lapras ex and Galvantula ex. Each has a powerful attack named after a gemstone, such as Terapagos ex's Crown Opal, that needs three different types of Energy. Cards such as the Supporter Crispin and the ACE SPEC Sparkling Crystal help pay that cost. The set also has 10 other Pokémon ex, including Hydrapple ex, and three ACE SPEC cards: Deluxe Bomb, Grand Tree and Sparkling Crystal.
The English list adapts the Japanese set Stellar Miracle and adds 42 cards, most of them from Japan's Battle Academy deck kit. The changes are listed below.

What changed from Stellar Miracle
- Added from Battle Academy: 35 cards from the Japanese Battle Academy deck kit (8 March 2024), including Greninja ex (041/142), Lucario ex (082/142) and Melmetal ex (105/142).
- Added from a Japanese deck set: Venusaur ex (001/142) and Blastoise ex (030/142), plus the full-art Bulbasaur (143/142) and Squirtle (148/142), which became Illustration Rares. All four come from the Venusaur & Charizard & Blastoise Special Deck Set ex, released in Japan on 10 November 2023, so Venusaur ex and Blastoise ex have that deck's new artwork rather than the 151 art.
- Added from Japanese gym promos: Pansear (021/142), Yamask (062/142) and Garganacl ex (089/142), from Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack 4 (27 October 2023).
- Moved to promos: the Noctowl art rare by Tetsu Kayama became the Elite Trainer Box promo (SVP 141). The full-art Terapagos ex became SVP 165 in the Terapagos ex Ultra-Premium Collection, released on 22 November 2024.
- Numbering: 142 main cards against 102 in Japan, and 33 secret rares in both. The English set lists Trainers alphabetically, in the main list and in each secret rare tier, so Briar (171/142) comes before Lacey (172/142) and Area Zero Underdepths (174/142) before Bravery Charm (175/142), the reverse of the Japanese order.
Stellar Crown chase cards
The six cards below are the most expensive singles in the set by market price on 9 October 2026. The most expensive of all on that date was Squirtle (148/142, Illustration Rare). Two of the Illustration Rares are Kanto starters: Squirtle (148/142) by Saboteri and Bulbasaur (143/142) by Orca. Both first appeared as full-art cards in a Japanese deck set. The six Special Illustration Rares are Hydrapple ex (167/142), Galvantula ex (168/142), Dachsbun ex (169/142), Terapagos ex (170/142), Briar (171/142) and Lacey (172/142). Stellar Crown illustrators
109 illustrators are credited across the 175 cards, and 5ban Graphics has the most credits. The Special Illustration Rares are by Teeziro (Hydrapple ex), MARINA Chikazawa (Galvantula ex), Yuu Nishida (Dachsbun ex), Saboteri (Terapagos ex), DOM (Briar) and Souichirou Gunjima (Lacey). Saboteri also drew the Squirtle Illustration Rare. MARINA Chikazawa also drew the Joltik Illustration Rare and both prints of Area Zero Underdepths. Mitsuhiro Arita, the artist of the original Base Set Charizard, drew the Crabominable Illustration Rare. Each tile leads with the artist's highest-value card in the set; the name links to their entry in the illustrator database.

Japanese secret rares use the AR, SR, SAR and UR labels, where the English set uses IR, UR, SIR and HR.

Stellar Crown products and sealed prices
The Build & Battle Box came first, at prerelease events. The booster boxes, bundles, blisters and Elite Trainer Boxes launched with the set on 13 September 2024. Its four promos are Ledian (SVP 133), Crabominable (SVP 134), Drifblim (SVP 135) and Bouffalant (SVP 136). The Elite Trainer Boxes show Terapagos and hold the Noctowl promo (SVP 141), which was an art rare in Japan. The Pokémon Center version, sold through the online Pokémon Center stores, adds two packs and a second Noctowl with the Pokémon Center logo. The Premium Checklane Blisters carry Paradox Pokémon from Temporal Forces rather than the usual evolution lines. Two later boxes tie in with the set: the Terapagos ex Ultra-Premium Collection (22 November 2024) has promos of Cinderace ex, Lapras ex and Terapagos ex, and the Venusaur ex & Blastoise ex Premium Collection (August 2025) has Venusaur ex (001/142) and Blastoise ex (030/142) with the Stellar Crown logo on the art. Sealed prices are market prices from the same snapshot as the singles.

A few things worth knowing before you buy singles or sealed product from this set.
Eight cards carry the older G mark
Most of Stellar Crown has the H regulation mark. Eight cards carry the G mark instead, and all eight first came out in Japan in 2023: Venusaur ex (001/142), Pansear (021/142), Blastoise ex (030/142), Yamask (062/142), Garganacl ex (089/142), the Bulbasaur (143/142) and Squirtle (148/142) Illustration Rares, and the gold Bravery Charm (175/142). G-mark cards left the Standard format on 10 April 2026 (26 March in Pokémon TCG Live), so these eight are Expanded only.
Build & Battle non-holos
Ledian (003/142) and Bouffalant (119/142) are holo Rares in booster packs. Non-holo prints of both came in Build & Battle products, not in packs, so a master set needs both versions.
Stamped store promos
Archaludon (107/142) was given away as a stamped Cosmos Holofoil card: with a GameStop stamp in Canada, an EB Games stamp in Australia and New Zealand, and a Stellar Crown stamp in Europe. In the US the stamped gift-with-purchase card was Raging Bolt (111/142). In the UK, participating GAME stores gave away an oversized Terapagos ex with the Stellar Crown logo with qualifying purchases.
Two foils on the Tinkaton promo
The Tinkaton promo (SVP 140) from the Three Pack Blisters exists on both Pixel Cosmos and Smooth Cosmos holofoil, so check the pattern if you want a particular version.

What is a Stellar Tera Pokémon ex?
A Pokémon ex shown Terastallized with the Stellar Tera Type. On the card it keeps its usual type. Stellar Crown introduced them with Terapagos ex, Cinderace ex, Lapras ex and Galvantula ex. Each has an attack named after a gemstone that needs three different types of Energy. Pikachu ex from Surging Sparks is another.
What are the Stellar Crown promo cards?
