Twilight Masquerade set overview

Twilight Masquerade is the sixth main set of the Scarlet & Violet series. It went on sale on 24 May 2024, after prerelease events on the weekends of 11 to 12 and 18 to 19 May. The set has 226 cards: a 167-card main list and 59 secret rares numbered 168/167 to 226/167. Its set code, printed at the bottom left of each card, is TWM.

The set is themed on Kitakami, the setting of The Teal Mask, the first part of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Ogerpon leads it as four Tera Pokémon ex, one for each mask: Teal Mask Ogerpon ex (Grass), Hearthflame Mask Ogerpon ex (Fire), Wellspring Mask Ogerpon ex (Water) and Cornerstone Mask Ogerpon ex (Fighting). Greninja ex, Dragapult ex and Magcargo ex are the other Tera Pokémon ex. The other seven Pokémon ex include Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex and Sinistcha ex, both introduced in The Teal Mask.

Okidogi, Munkidori and Fezandipiti appear as Basic Pokémon, not Pokémon ex, with "Adrena" Abilities, which work only while the Pokémon has Darkness Energy attached. The set also adds six ACE SPEC cards, among them Secret Box, Unfair Stamp and Legacy Energy, an ACE SPEC Special Energy. The English list combines two Japanese releases, Mask of Change and the subset Crimson Haze, and adds two Supporters from other Japanese products. The changes are listed below.

What changed from the Japanese sets

• Added from other Japanese products: Cook (147/167), a Supporter first printed in Fusion Strike, here with new art by Hideki Ishikawa that first appeared in Japan's Battle Academy deck kit, and Raifort (161/167), a Japanese Pokémon Card Gym promo from October 2023.
• Left out: Switch and Pokémon Catcher, the reprints Crimson Haze carried so it could be played in Sealed-format events.
• Moved to another set: the Mask of Change art rares of Munkidori, Fezandipiti and Okidogi became Illustration Rares in Shrouded Fable, the special set released on 2 August 2024. Their regular prints stay here: Munkidori (095/167), Fezandipiti (096/167) and Okidogi (111/167).
• Numbering: 167 main cards, the same as the two Japanese main lists combined (101 + 66), and 59 secret rares against 62 (32 + 30).

Twilight Masquerade chase cards

The six cards below are the most expensive singles in the set by market price on 9 October 2026. The most expensive of all on that date was Greninja ex (214/167, Special Illustration Rare). Among the Special Illustration Rares, Greninja ex (214/167) by akagi is the set's headline chase card. Four Supporters also have one: Perrin (220/167) by GIDORA, Carmine (217/167) by En Morikura, Kieran (218/167) by Teeziro and Lana's Aid (219/167) by Toshinao Aoki. The Illustration Rares include Eevee (188/167) by Narumi Sato and Chansey (187/167), also by Toshinao Aoki. Tap a card to jump to it in the list.

Every card in the set is below in set-number order, with its rarity, illustrator and market price. The secret rares start at 168/167: 21 Illustration Rares, 21 Ultra Rares, 11 Special Illustration Rares and six gold Hyper Rares. The Ultra Rares are full-art prints of the 14 Pokémon ex and seven Supporters. The six ACE SPEC cards sit in the main list with their own rarity chip. Twilight Masquerade illustrators

121 illustrators are credited across the 226 cards, and 5ban Graphics has the most credits. Yano Keiji drew all four Ogerpon ex Special Illustration Rares. The other Special Illustration Rares are by akagi (Greninja ex), Saboteri (Sinistcha ex), MINAMINAMI Take (Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex), GIDORA (Perrin), En Morikura (Carmine), Teeziro (Kieran) and Toshinao Aoki (Lana's Aid). GIDORA also drew the Hisuian Growlithe Illustration Rare, and Toshinao Aoki the Chansey one. The four booster pack artworks are by N-DESIGN Inc. Each tile leads with the artist's highest-value card in the set; the name links to their entry in the illustrator database.

Twilight Masquerade draws on two Japanese releases. Crimson Haze (クリムゾンヘイズ), an enhanced expansion pack built for Sealed-format play with Bloodmoon Ursaluna as its central Pokémon, came out on 22 March 2024 with 96 cards (66 + 30 secret rares). Mask of Change (変幻の仮面, also translated as Transformation Mask) followed on 26 April 2024 with 133 cards (101 + 32 secret rares) and the four Ogerpon ex. The English set merges the two, drops Crimson Haze's Switch and Pokémon Catcher reprints, adds Cook and Raifort, and leaves three art rares for Shrouded Fable. Japanese secret rares use the AR, SR, SAR and UR labels, where the English set uses IR, UR, SIR and HR.

Twilight Masquerade products and sealed prices

The booster boxes, Elite Trainer Boxes, Booster Bundles and blisters went on sale with the set on 24 May 2024. The Build & Battle Box was the prerelease kit: four booster packs and a 40-card deck built around one of four promos, Thwackey (SVP 115), Infernape (SVP 116), Froslass (SVP 117) or Tatsugiri (SVP 118). The Elite Trainer Box shows Ogerpon and holds a Teal Mask Ogerpon promo (SVP 123); the Pokémon Center version, sold through Pokémon Center online stores, adds two packs and a second copy of the promo with a Pokémon Center stamp. The Booster Bundle came in two packaging styles with six packs each, and packs came in four artworks: Teal Mask Ogerpon, Bloodmoon Ursaluna, Sinistcha and a Terastallized Dragapult. Every blister except the 3-Pack Blister has a Lechonk coin. Sealed prices are market prices from the same snapshot as the singles.
