Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y
Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y were first revealed for Pokémon Legends: Z-A — Mega Dimension. Raichu is one of a small number of Pokémon with two Mega Evolution forms.
Neither form has appeared on a Pokémon TCG card. MEGA x MEGA Parade is the first set announced to feature them. Card names, types, HP and rarities have not been announced.

Revealed Cards
Four cards have been revealed so far, shown in a promotional video rather than in an official card list. All four are Mega Attack Rares, the comic-book-style rarity that debuted in Ascended Heroes. Each one is marked MA after its collector number and carries its attack name in large English lettering behind the artwork.
Each of the four is numbered above 165, so the main set is 165 cards and these four sit above it in the secret rare range. The Pokémon Company has not published a full card list.

What a High Class Pack Is
A High Class Pack is Japan’s premium annual expansion. Most of the main set is made up of reprints from the preceding year, which gives Japanese players a second chance at cards they missed. The draw is the secret rare section, which carries a large number of cards with new alternate artwork.

The February Slot
MEGA x MEGA Parade falls outside the usual window. Every High Class Pack in the table above released in November or December.
Two sets occupy the late-2026 calendar. 30th Celebration launches worldwide on 16 September 2026. Aura Seeker follows on 27 November 2026, in the slot a High Class Pack would normally take.
The Pokémon Company has not stated a reason for the February date.
📅 What This Means for the Block
A February release places MEGA x MEGA Parade at the end of the Mega Evolution block’s second year rather than the end of its first. Whether the set closes the block or bridges into the next one has not been announced.
How the Name Surfaced
The set name became public through a trademark filing, months before The Pokémon Company announced anything. Nintendo, Creatures Inc. and Game Freak registered MEGA x MEGA Parade (MEGA×MEGAパレード) in July 2026, in the class the three of them use for Pokémon TCG set names.
That is the normal route. Set names surface in this class six months to a year before the set does, which is why the name was reported in July and the release date only followed in August.
A filing is not a guarantee. Names shift between the filing and the print run — Terastal Festival ex was registered without the “ex” — and some registered names never reach a product at all. Here the name survived intact: the set announced in August carries exactly the name filed in July.
🔍 Why the Name Read as a High Class Pack
High Class Pack names have always referenced the mechanic the block is built on — MEGA Dream ex, Terastal Festival ex, VSTAR Universe, VMAX Climax. “MEGA x MEGA” matched the Mega Evolution block and “Parade” echoed Terastal Festival, which is why the filing was read as a High Class Pack before it was confirmed as one.
English Release
MEGA x MEGA Parade has no announced English name and no English release date. High Class Pack sets are not translated directly. Their contents are reworked into a separate English set with a different name, card count and numbering.
