Set Overview

Nihil Zero is the Japanese set that introduces Mega Zygarde ex to the Pokémon Trading Card Game alongside three other never-before-seen Mega Evolutions. This expansion ties directly into the upcoming Pokémon Legends: Z-A game, exploring themes of urban harmony and returning to foundational balance.

As a Japanese release, Nihil Zero features the tighter, more focused card pool typical of Japanese sets, with 76 total cards compared to the 120+ cards in its English counterpart. Japanese collectors prize these sets for their high-quality card stock, vibrant artwork, and earlier access to new mechanics and Pokémon.

English Release

Cards from Nihil Zero will be included in the English expansion Perfect Order, scheduled for release on March 27, 2026. The English version will combine cards from Nihil Zero with additional content to create a larger set with over 120 cards.

English players can expect to see Mega Zygarde ex, Mega Clefable ex, Mega Starmie ex, and Mega Skarmory ex in Perfect Order, along with many of the trainer cards and supporting Pokémon from this Japanese release. Some cards may receive new artwork or slight modifications for the international release.
