A Connected Masterpiece: Froakie, Frogadier & Mega Greninja ex
One of the standout highlights of Chaos Rising is a trio of connected illustration rares depicting Greninja's full evolutionary line. Illustrated by Susumu Maeya, the Froakie and Frogadier illustration rares combine horizontally with the Mega Greninja ex special illustration rare to form a single sweeping panoramic scene. Froakie gazes upward from beneath the surface of the water, Frogadier bursts into the open air above, and Mega Greninja ex hovers high overhead atop its signature shuriken. The artwork transitions beautifully through a wash of pink and orange tones evoking a sunset sky — and sharp-eyed collectors will spot a silhouette of Greninja before Mega Evolution shimmering in the orange glow below. These three cards are designed to be displayed side by side, and together they form one of the most striking connected artworks the Pokémon TCG has produced in the Mega Evolution era.
