English Releases
Three English releases are on the horizon: the remaining Ascended Heroes products, the full Perfect Order expansion, and the newly dated Chaos Rising.
The Elite Trainer Box and Mini Tins for Ascended Heroes release on February 20th, ahead of the Premium Posters collection arriving March 20th.
The next full English expansion, continuing the Mega Evolution era. The Japanese equivalent (Nihil Zero) has already released, giving us a strong preview of what to expect. Features Mega Zygarde ex alongside other chase cards.
Confirmed for Friday, May 22nd. Details are still thin, but this will be the next major English expansion following Perfect Order.
Japanese Releases
Japan is a set ahead as always. Ninja Spinner has been officially revealed, while two further sets are circulating as rumours.
Officially revealed by Creatures. The set's headline card is Mega Greninja ex — one of the most popular Pokémon in the franchise making its Mega debut in the TCG.
Rumoured to feature Mega Darkrai ex. No official confirmation yet, but the name and featured Pokémon have been circulating in leaker communities.
Rumoured to feature Mega Rayquaza ex. If accurate, this would be one of the most anticipated Japanese sets of the year — Rayquaza is a fan favourite and Mega Rayquaza is iconic.
Abyss Eye and Storm Emeralda are unconfirmed rumours. Names and featured Pokémon may change before any official announcement.
The Big Picture
The Mega Evolution era continues to expand across both regions. Japan leads the way with Ninja Spinner in March, while English players have the Ascended Heroes ETB landing imminently and Perfect Order at the end of March. Chaos Rising in May gives English collectors three confirmed releases to plan around.
If the Abyss Eye and Storm Emeralda rumours hold, Mega Darkrai and Mega Rayquaza would be huge pulls for collectors — both are among the most popular Mega Evolutions from the original XY era. We'll update this page as official announcements land.
