30th Celebration Card Prices Are Stabilising After a Month of Falls
The 12 chase cards fell 64% from release to 15 October. Since then they are up 4.8%.

30th Celebration cards have been on a downward trajectory since release, with most chase cards dropping by more than 50 percent. However, over the last few days we’ve seen a stabilisation followed by a small uptick in value.
The 12 chase cards combined

Figure 1. Combined TCGplayer market price (Near Mint) of the 12 chase cards: the Special Illustration Rares and Futuristic Rares, 147–158. 16 September is the release-day price and 18 October is a part day. 26 September is left out: a data glitch priced three cards under $25 that day.
The greatest jump has been in the Mew ex Special Illustration Rare, increasing from $84.56 to $95.49.

Figure 2. Mew ex 152/128 Special Illustration Rare, daily TCGplayer market price (Near Mint): up 12.9% from 15 to 18 October.
This could be due to a lull between releases, with no new big releases until 6th November, with the insane release of the Night and Day Ultra-Premium Collections, Ditto Premium Collection, and the Mew and Mewtwo Figure Collections.
This large increase in availability may cause a dip in value, but I wouldn’t be surprised if cards continued to inflate in value until then.
What about the reprints?
The Classic Collection reprints haven’t followed quite the same trajectory. They actually rose for the first week and a half, peaking at $1,240 combined on 27 September, before falling to $761 on 13 October. From 19 September to their lows, that’s a 31% drop for the reprints against 52% for the chase cards. Over the last three days they’ve seen the same small uptick, rising 5.3% to $811, with the biggest jump in Lugia (149/147), from $180.41 to $193.97.
Figure 4. The 12 chase cards against the 30 Classic Collection reprints, combined TCGplayer market price (Near Mint) indexed to 19 September = 100. TCGplayer has no reprint prices before 19 September, so both lines start there.
