How many cards are in 30th Celebration?
The main numbered set runs to 128 cards. Beyond that are Secret Rare cards numbered above 128 — including Lapras (#131), Drifloon (#136), Lycanroc (#138) and Hisuian Zorua (#145). Add the 30 Pikachu variants, Futuristic rares, deck-exclusive cards and the promo run and the full collection is significantly larger.
Why are some cards numbered above 128?
Cards numbered beyond the set total are Secret Rares — alternate-art or rarer parallel versions that sit outside the standard numbered run, a convention used across modern Pokémon TCG sets. In 30th Celebration the confirmed Secret Rares are alternate arts of Lapras, Drifloon, Lycanroc and Hisuian Zorua.
What new ex Pokémon are in the set?
Four brand-new ex cards have been confirmed. Greninja ex (#21/128) and Sylveon ex (#71/128) appear in the main booster set, while Espeon ex and Umbreon ex are exclusive to the Premium Deck Set. Two Pikachu ex Futuristic rares (day & night variants) are exclusive to the Futuristic Box — see the Futuristic Rare Gallery.
