About the Set
Call of Legends closed out the pre-Black & White era. Its 95-card main set is largely made up of reprints, and its draw is the eleven shiny legendary Pokémon numbered SL1–SL11 — Deoxys, Dialga, Entei, Groudon, Ho-Oh, Kyogre, Lugia, Palkia, Raikou, Rayquaza and Suicune.
How to identify it: numbered cards read N/95. The eleven shiny legendaries carry SL1–SL11 numbers rather than a fraction, and sit outside the main set numbering.
The Shiny Legendary Subset
Call of Legends had a single print run. Its chase cards are the eleven shiny legendary Pokémon.
| Type | What it means |
|---|---|
| Main set (1–95) | The commons, uncommons, rares and holo rares that make up the bulk of the set. |
| Shiny legendaries (SL1–SL11) | Eleven shiny legendary Pokémon with their own SL numbering — the set’s ultra-rare pulls. |
Note: the gallery below covers all 106 cards. The shiny legendaries read SL1 to SL11, outside the main numbering.

HGSS Black Star Promos use their own numbering (HGSS01 onward) and carry a black star where a set symbol would be.
Collecting & Where to Buy
Call of Legends is out of print and trades on the secondary market. Main-set singles are inexpensive, while the eleven shiny legendaries carry the strongest premiums, especially in high grade.
Collector tip: the shiny legendaries (SL1–SL11) are the prize — confirm the SL numbering, and check the surface closely since the shiny finish shows wear easily.
