Every Pokémon App: The Complete List
More than 45 official Pokémon apps have been released for phones and tablets since 2011. Eighteen are still available in August 2026. This is the full list, with release dates, closure dates and what each one did.
The first Pokémon smartphone app came out in Japan in July 2011. More than 45 have followed. Eighteen are still available; the rest have been withdrawn or had their servers closed. Release and closure dates are given where they were announced.

Eighteen official Pokémon apps can still be downloaded and used. They are listed here in order of release. Sticker packs are listed separately further down.

Pokémon Pikachu Talk is not listed above because it runs on smart speakers rather than phones. It launched for Amazon Alexa and Google Home in 2017–2018. Google’s retirement of Conversational Actions removed it from Google Home on 13 June 2023; it remains on Alexa.
Pokémon Apps That Have Shut Down
Eighteen apps have been withdrawn or had their servers closed. Several ran for less than two years.

iMessage Sticker Packs
Three of the App Store listings are iMessage sticker packs rather than standalone apps. They are separated out here because they do not run on their own. Two of the three are still on the store.

Japan-Only and One-Off Apps
Alongside the games, The Pokémon Company released a number of small companion apps, most of them in Japan and most no longer distributed. Several were digital editions of official strategy guides.

This list covers official apps for phones and tablets from The Pokémon Company, The Pokémon Company International and their development partners. Console and handheld games appear only where a mobile version also exists. Browser games, unofficial apps and Nintendo Music are excluded. Sticker packs are listed separately because they do not run on their own. Where release dates differ by region the earliest is given.
